Essential Amino Acids:
Amino acids are the “building blocks” of the human and animal bodies. They are components of protein. Amino acids are classified as (1) essential as they can only be obtained via our dietary intake, (2) conditionally essential as whilst they can be synthaised in a human, dietary assiastance is needed to complete the process, and (3) non-essential amino acids meaning that an adult human can make them within itself.
Essential Amino Acids: leucine, isoleucine, valine, threonine, methionine, phenylalanine, tryptophan, lysine, histidine. Those in bold are those essential amino acids found in the Sea Buckthorn berry.
